There are very few of my cards that I "really like", but this is one of them! I don't know what exactly it is that I like, but I like it! lol The flowers showed up a little lighter than they actually are. I just got a set of Prismacolor Premium Colored Pencils (120) and this is my first card using them. I was completly overwhelmed by all the color choices!! I really have a hard time making a decision when choosing things (ask my hubby how many pics I take of my cards and how long it takes me to decide which one to post... I usually make him pick)!! lol I was using this scrap piece of paper, and thought Guava would look good, so I started with the peaches and ended up with Mineral Orange! I think I need to practice a lot with the Prismacolors. I'm used to using the Koh-i-noor pencils (they are sooooo smooth and blend like butter), but the colors are limited. IMHO, there is a different "feel" to the Prismacolors... maybe I should try a better quality paper. Well, I have LOTS of colors to practice with!!

I think it turned out beautiful and was actually thinking before reading your comments that your blending was wonderful. I have never used Koh-i-noor and am used to the Prismacolors. I think they work nicely on SU's paper.

You sound like me trying to get the best scan. But like my daughter always tells me - "Breathe"! I just started using Gamsol but only have regular colored pencils that my kids don't use any more. Isn't it fun!

Beautiful card. I love the shading of the colors on the flowers. You sound like me trying to get the best scan. But like my daughter always tells me - "Breathe"! I just started using Gamsol but only have regular colored pencils that my kids don't use any more. Isn't it fun!
