Hello everyone! I'm finally home! Seems like I've been gone forever and I lost my mojo somewhere along the way too! But today's House Mouse Monday Challenge was to use a Springtime theme, and that got me going a bit.
This image is called "Singing in the Rain". I stamped it in Archival Jet Black and colored with Prisma Pencils and blended with Goo Gone and Blending Stumps. I used a base of violet textured cs from Walmart, and the white is GPW. I wanted to use an umbrella for this rainy scene... but didn't have an image for one, so I drew one on dp by daisyd's and pierced the seam lines, then doodled faux stitching. I drew the handle on a scrap of tan cs and cut out. The sentiment is Studio G and I used my SU! Slot punch to punch the panel so I could "hang" the umbrella from the sentiment. This little mouse has thrown down her umbrella and is just enjoying this spring rain and the flowers it brings! I added Stickles to the violet, the raindrops, and her toenails.

This is so sweet and I love the colors you've chosen! And the way you hung the umbrella handle on the sentiment is so clever! Thanks so much for sharing!
