It's another dreaded MAN card!! I tried to keep the layout bold and simple. I hope to make something more interesting soon - I just have a very sick kid right now.

Kathy: You met the awful challenge of a "man card" boldly and you have conquered!! I really like this. The colors you chose, the bold FORTY and brads and brown ribbon all add a more masculine touch. I know you miss your "pearls". Maybe on the next one! Oh, by the way, I'm not going to be a man too just to get this card. I have my limits!!! I like pearls and rhinestones too much! So, you can take me off the man's card list! LOL! TFS!

Kathy, this is more than perfectly masculine. I love the letters and the clean, striking lines. Girl, you need to teach classes. Hope your little one is better soon!

Great card - love the boldness of the popped up letters. It's hard to keep from adding the frilly punched edges and bling isn't it?!?! But the pierced edges help make up for that... And I'm also glad to see that Pam has her limits as to what she'll do for one of your wonderful cards!

Love it! I like how you emphasized the FORTY part of it. Reminds me of when my hubby turned 40..I made sure I told everyone that day! I'm not looking forward to paybacks! Great card...
