One of my Sunday School friends is celebrating a birthday today, so I made this card for her last night. The lighting isn't great, but I didn't have time to retake the picture this morning.
Sherry Cheever is one of my all time favorite 'Dirty Girl's and more than a year ago she posted a card using this image...you can see Sherry's card here: Blogs at Splitcoaststampers
I've kept Sherry's card 'tucked in the back of my brain' all of this time, knowing I would one day want to do something similar. This card is the result.
Although the picture doesn't show this, I applied crystal effects to the car windows and also used a clear Spica glitter pen on the eye glass lenses and the woman's hair for a 'touch of sparkle'.
My friend and I love the Maxine cartoon character and Gina K has captured some of the same humor with this set...hopefully, this card will bring a little smile to my friend's heart.
Thanks Sherry, for sharing your fantastic talent!
