I used the printer for the names, using regular old typing paper. cut the paper 1 1/4" by 3 1/4 ", stamp whatever you want on it then run it through the xyron with the permanent adhesive cartridge. cut terrifically tacky sheets to about 1 3/8" by 3 1/4", the adhesive sheet needs to be just a tad wider than the paper to ensure proper coverage. then put the sticker you made out of the stamped image and the xyron on the pen then the tacky strip and roll in the beads, press hard to make sure you cover all the pen. I got the tacky sheets from dickblick.com for 1.98 cheapest I found anywhere!! and the beads from pennywisearts.com, Suzanne from pennywise is awesome she will send you instructions to make the pens if you order beads. let the pens set for 24hrs to make sure the beads don't fall off. I love these. I have an order from a local settlement company for 500 pens. $$$$ hope this helps. If you don't have a xyron use sticker paper or labels.

You did a wonderful job on these. It looks like you printed the words - great idea. And did you sponge the base color before you stamped the flowers? It really looks like the pens glow with color - very nice.

Thanks so much - you've given me a great idea! I've done them with the names stamped on them, but it's hard to fit the larger names on them. It never occurred to me to do the names on the computer - duh! Thanks so much for sharing, sometimes it just makes the lightbulb click on for someone!
