Today's WT211 was Hot Metal. We were to use our iron in some way. UGH! I HATE to iron!!! LOL! But I did have fun playing with this one. I used the technique I had seen this morning on debhorst's entry to this challenge.... which was the wax paper resist only instead of crumpling up the wax paper I ran it through the CB and then sandwiched a layer of printer paper, the wax paper with the design I wanted on the cs facing it, then the cs, then another layer of printer paper. The design transfers to the cs and you can use it that way or do as I did and brayer on color, and the waxy parts will resist the ink.
This is also for this week's House_Mouse Challenge, to create a card some shape other than square or rectangular... a shape. I used my Nesties and lined up one side of a fold just inside the cut line, and ran it through the bug. That allows the card to open. Instead of doing it on point and have it not able to stand, I did it a little different... thinking less of Valentines Day and more of Bunnies... and a little DGD who has a special day coming up soon.
Image is stamped in Archival, colored with Prisma Pencils and blended with OFMS. Used SU! PP ribbon, CS, and Stardust clear gelly roll pen. The sentiment inside is Studio G and says "Some Bunny Loves You".
More on my blog and a pic of the inside. Thanks so much for taking a peek!

Sweet card! I was hoping a few people might feel more kindly towards their irons if they had a crafty use for them - lol! Your colouring is lovely and the subtle BG is perfect since there's lots of other stuff going on here - great job!
