I have to start my saying that this photo is not a 'true to life' look for this card, it makes the colours look fairly dark, when infact they are much lighter - couldn't get the colours right - so just gave up, which is a shame as this challenge is to use pastels and have a flower on it somewhere....but believe me...it is...and there is!!
I used DP as my inspiration and then just added the layered flower, some of which came in a RAK from Suleika (aka Roxystamper) and the butterflies and branches which came in a RAK from Lesley (aka Marleygo)...as always....a combined effort!!
I used the scalloped border along the edge of the DP, adding lace under it, which I was given by a lovely lady called Chriss...there is a big bag of it....so there will be lace on many of may cards - in many colours!!! I then stamped the sentiment and chalked it, inked the butterflies and used 3D foam dots to lift the wings and added the graduating pearls.....another very quick and simple card. It took less time to make this than it did to pack everything away later!!!
Thank you for looking, I appreciate your comments!!
