I was asked to make this card for a friend to give to someone and they wanted to make it personal - easy if you know the person, but a LOT harder if you don't!! I went with the soft look of pastels (thank you Cindy for the inspiration) and inked the embossing folder to give it a more vintage look (no reflection on the ladies age!?!) then used the scalloped border punch for the EF and the DP.
Once I had gone this far I added the sheer ribbon and the silver heart embellishment and realised I hadn't really left myself anywhere to go with the sentiment, so made it into tags and hung them from the heart along with a couple of other embellishments - I must mention at this point, being a lover of embellishments, that I have discovered a whole new world in the jewellery department of stores....embellishments are WAY CHEAPER and heaps in a pack....and the variety is HUGE!!!!
It was a very quick and easy card to make, I hope my friend is happy with the results - what do you think?!
Thank you for looking, you always encourage me!
