So, I'm late for the teaparty... and the whipcream is probably all gone.
I was on vacation in AZ and got home Monday night. My husband stayed in AZ with his parents, and I have the house mostly to myself. Kids coming and going, but they are older and independent. So I have all this time to myself, and thought I would be back at the challenges and stamping all day. I just can't get it together. I looked at the color challenge tuesday, and just wasn't motivated for anything. Lost the mojo, as they say...
So I thought I could throw together a strawberry card pretty easy, but nothing was coming together. I even had new toys to play with... new nesties, SU! order, stamp purchased in AZ... why did I lose my mojo when I have new toys???!!!!
So this is it... call it done, and move on...
The strawberry is from a REALLY old SU! set called Country Stitching. Stamped strawberries with brown stazon, colored stems with celery marker, berries colored with prisma pencils and blended with OMS. Strawberries were then covered with crystal effects, to make them look wet and juicy! LOL

Very cute card! I love the strawberries, all ripe and juicy-looking! You are never too late for the teaparty -that's what I've heard! And I made a special request for whipped cream for my strawberry so I'm sure there will be some extra!

But, I am so happy you came to the party, there is no such thing as being late! Your card is so happy, there is something about strawberries that make you smile! I love that you pulled out an old SU set and gave it some attention!

I LOVE this set. I have never seen it. It is perfect for this challenge. I really like the way you stamped the strawberries all the way across. Great job. SO glad you got home in time to join us. If this is lost mojo I can't wait to see it when it is great.. Super job.

Welcome to the tea party. No such thing as late at this get together. Love the way you tied the ribbon on your card and the sentiment is perfect for the line of yummy strawberries.
I was in Arizona last week visiting friends and watching some baseball. Fun in the sun.

Kris, I love your strawberries. They look like they are rolling across the card. I love the way you have them colored. The shading makes them looks so real. Better sneak in the back door, cause whipped cream would taste so good with your berries. I like the stitching look.
