Love this technique!! And I was excited to be able to use this pineapple I had made a while back.
I used Dream Weaver embossing paste & stencil to make the pineaplle. Before I lifted the stencil up I used the pallet knife to lift the paste up to give the pineapple dimension. It's all prickly like a real one. I reapeatedly placed the knife on the paste and then would pull up quick. It's like working with frosting to make peaks in it.
Then I use stipple brushes to color it with Color Box Chalk Ink. I love the look it gives things. I also smudged the edges of the light green paper the pineapple is on with the Olive Pastel.
Thanks for looking!!

Fantastic pineapple card! Ever since moving to North Carolina (and learning the meaning of the pineapple to colonists) I've been "into" pineapples, and this is a great one! I clicked on the thumbnail to see whose wonderful stamp you used, LOL. Cool technique. TFS.
