i have managed to combine 3 challenges with this card - this was quite by accident! It wasn't until I finished did I realise that not only did it fit into the Flourishes Timless Tuesday Challenge (which I originally started making it for!) which was a Sketch Challenge this week. But it also fitted into the Colour Challenge - although I don't have the exact colours, I managed to match it pretty closely
AND it is made with green so fits the Ways to Use it Challenge...plus the gold chain on the top of the **** is also recycled from some old jewellery...SO I am happy to be able to combine all of these challenges with one card!!
This was one of those cards which really came together by itself. I used Textured Textiles as my DP and added a side strip which is layered on red textured paper. I then cut out the circle which has been popped up on foam dots, chalking some of the words of the sentiment and Roman Numerals. The gold chain was added lastly.
I enjoyed using the colours for this week and really like them for this vintage look - I will definitely look at using them again!
Thank you so much for looking, I love to hear what you think! God bless you!
