This is submitted for the "going green" challenge. I recycled a stir from Starbucks and used "green" for the background color. The bird is done in White EP and bleached on the inside then recolored in spots to create leaves. I cut out a spot to open it and used a green button to accent it. I used copper CS and black satin ribbon to mirror silk and satin textures. But...I'm actually not so sure I like this card. I can't 'always' do much with my "always" set! I love it, but it doesn;t 'always' love me. ha
Edited to add: I took a cotton swab and dipped it in bleach then painted over the areas on the bird I wanted to bleach. Bleach turns SU paper a golden tan color. Then I used my aqua painter and old olive ink to re-color the areas I wanted green! Voila.

I think it's fabulous. i know what you mean though - i can always use my heart stamp but the bird stumps me. you did a great job with it. I don't quite understand how you used white ep and bleach. would you mind explaining to me how you did it as i would love to try this myself.

Oh Wow, I don't know how I missed this the other day. You did a fabulous job with the challenge. I love the half punched circle and the treatment with the button on the inside. This is so beautiful! Into my favs it goes. TFS
