I just ordered these sympathy stamps from CDS with their last release, they were just the font and type of sentiment I had been searching for. I always have a hard time making a sympathy card, they make me sad, but my friend Linda makes them in bolder colors than I usually use, so I thought I'd depart from my usual purples and darker tones and go with colors to match this pretty DSP. I colored the butterfly in Ciao copic markers first, then painted over the green and blue portions with matching twinkling H20s to give it a bit of shimmer. Thanks for looking. (I have a better pic of it now on my blog that I took in the daylight instead of at night. www.rosesbymywindow.blogspot.com)

PS, this is gorgeous and so, so lovely! I love the shadowbox, the background stamping behind the sentiment, the beautifully colored butterfly, the Cuttlebugged frame, the dainy MS border punch and pearls! All = ART!

So soothing, comforting, and beautiful Peggysue. I love that CB vintage die, I'll have to look for that...it looks easier than making a frame using a corner punch for sure, that is hard for me...but this looks lovely!! And the added pearls just give it a touch of elegance.
