This was inspired by a page in the children's book "First Snow in the Woods" by Carl R. Sams & Jean Stoick. (Fabulous photography! See also "Stranger in the Woods" and "Lost in the Woods" by the same authors.)
I started with white card stock and stippled in all the SU colors -- starting from the bottom: More Mustard, Old Olive, Green Galore, Tempting Turquoise, Taken with Teal, Night of Navy, Basic Black. The ground and trees were stamped in Basic Black. A few stars were added with a white gel pen.
It took me about an hour to do, and when I was done I knew I wanted to keep it for myself instead of turning it into a card! So I bought a frame at Michaels.
This is the card front before I put it in the frame, so you can see the entire thing. The stippled black ground got VERY black, so I am glad the mat in the frame will hide some of that.
