When I think of tickles, I think of peacock feathers and childhood. Thanks for this challenge, Luvlee. I had forgotten the shopping list included feathers when I began this peacock last night and tossed it aside to work with Mr. Shakespeare for the split negative. What fun it was to pull out of my scrap pile...
This wonderful bird is from Inkadinkadoo. I stamped it with Nick Bantock's Cerlean Azure and Sap Moss. I added stickles in Verdigris on the azure side and turquoise on the moss side. I hand cut the black mat. The card base is GP white cs. And the yummy green is from Basic Grey Lily Kate. I stamped Rubber Monger's peacock feather in NB's sap moss and then the sentiment in Acient Page coal black and embossed. It reads: 'in my past life, I was either a gypsy or a peacock'. I added a bit of sheer turquoise ribbon and feathered the edge!!!
Thanks so much for the chance to tickle your fancy!

How fun is this peacock. He's so dramatic, I like the way you added the ribbon in such a discreet way so that there's enough to add interest but not enough to distract from Mr. Peacock in all his sparkly glory.

Wow! This is wild! Love the sentiment. How did you get those feathers to sparkle? Beautiful Susan!

Oh, I love this! I am a big fan of peacock feathers, I am not sure why. I still have a few from my aunt's ranch when they had pea cocks and hens, in the corner of my craft area. I used to have more, in another room. When my son was about 2 or 3 he decided that they were bad and scary and would throw toys or other objects at them at every opportunity! Needless to say, some of them did not survive the repeated attacks! I did not really think about that little bit of history until I saw your card, thanks Susan for the memories! ;)
