For this challenge, we needed to come up with our "one" true love, meaning that the card had to be monochromatic, with one neutral allowed. Well, this worked out well for me, as I love Delft Blau pottery (from Holland), and there are only two colours for it: blue and white. So that's what I ran with.
The only colour of ink that I used was Brilliant Blue. For the central image, I watercoloured over the lines, and then added more ink in key spots. For the outer images, I just stamped the background stamp. Then for both, I embossed with the glassy glaze enamel (man, what a mess I made!!). I didn't have time to place the images in the freezer, so I just bent the paper to flatten it out (and cracked the images in the process). I cropped the images and matted the works.
I hope that you enjoy this card as much as I enjoy Delft Blau!

Wow! Beautiful card! I love the watercoloring effect & the glassy glaze effect ... it reminds me of those intricately decorated Dutch dishes. Great job! -Shirley
