I liked the rooster in the SU! catty....but wasn't crazy about the other stamps with it.
So, I just happen to find this one at Hobby Lobby for 50% off....wahoo!!
This rooster reminds me of a story.....one of my dear friends had chickens and they were going on vacation....so I agreed to take care of them as you gotta love eggs. Well, it just so happened that the rooster and I did not see eye to eye. I carried around a pitch fork and had to smack him a couple of times before he would leave me alone.....not a good time!
Anyhow, shortly after my friends return, one of their horses must have had enough of the rooster and gave him a swift kick......
I loved that horse more then you can imagine....
So, thanks for lookin' at my rooster....I promise he won't chase you!! ;o)

I like that you only have to color in just a little bit to make him look grand against that blue background. Cool piercing all around too! I have that same rooster so thanks for your card that I can CASE!

Your subtle coloring and layout with the chicken wire and cording all look fantastic! I'm glad you survived the rooster. Did the horse just kick him in the tail feathers, or is there a new rooster/guy in town?

Wow... this is so eyecatching! I love the subtle coloring of the rooster against the bold, blue background! That black matting makes everything pop! Love the chickenwire, brads, paper piercing and cording too! Perfectly done!

Love the card and your story! I just purchased the same stamp at Hobby Lobby so now I'm feeling challenged to come up with my version. Thanks for such a great example of how to effectively use this stamp.
