This card is for today's Way to Use it challenge which was to incorporate stripes into the design. I chose striped paper for the awning, I drew stripes on the little table and I had to start with stripes when I drew the horizontal lines for the bricks. It's hard to tell, but the window is shaded with very light blue pastel chalks and sparkles with a clear glitter pen to make it appear like glass. I had so much fun making this for a friends's birthday. Thanks for looking and for your sweet comments.

Is this ever adorable. I love it. You've encouraged me to use this set that has not seen ink. Your colors and papers are just perfect for this scene. Love it - oh! I already said that!!
