The challenge today was to stretch ourselves and make a card that had at least two ways that we were stretched. One of the ways I was stretched with this card was the shape. I 99.99% make cards that are rectangles. I stretched myself and made a square card. Another way I stretched myself was how the card opens. Again 99.99% of the time I make cards that open on the right, like a book. This time I made it so the fold is on top and it opens from the bottom. I didn't stop with the stretching there. Using fabric on cards I have only done a couple of times in the past 3 years. Since I had such a crazy day yesterday, I didn't get to do the WT205 challenge to use fabric so I did it on this card. The little bear was cut out of fabric. The last way I stretched myself was the ink I used. A majority of the time black stazon is my ink of choice. Today I used white craft ink to stamp the stars from the bitty backgrounds on the red cardstock. My story of this card isn't complete. Every Tuesday Mothermark has a teapot challenge. I have done every challenge except the first one. I have been thinking for several weeks that I wanted to go back and do that one, when I was looking at this fabric it made me think of that challenge seen here: Teapot Tuesday #1 by Mothermark at Splitcoaststampers
So Cindy, I know I am several months late to this teaparty. Thanks for waiting so long for latecomers like me.
