This card meets two challenges today: using fabric on your card for Julia's Ways to Use it challenge, and Craft Secrets challenge to show the love. Well, I love love love lilacs, so I used one of the cotton scraps for my card.
I put a bit of batting behind my Craft Secrets panel, sewed it around the edges, and then sewed around some of the design to give even more dimension. The mat for that panel is cut with deckle edge scissors. I layered two ribbons behind the panel. The sentiment is stamped onto white cs, and then cut and embossed with the Spellbinder's die and then I cut it out by hand on the inside. I then mounted it onto a Perfect Plum die cut and added a jewel. The bg is cuttlebugged with the textile texture folder and inked to bring out the design.

These lilacs are so pretty, Karen! The fabric is just beautiful. I love the cb bg, and the ribbon as well!! The depth with the batting is amazing!
