This is my card for today's Ways To Use It challenge which was to use fabric on our card.
I don't think I've ever used fabric before for cardmaking! I used to sew a lot but gave away most of my fabric when I stopped. After a bunch of digging, I came up with a couple of pieces of silk fabric I had kept back.
There is no stamping on my card today. I adhered a piece of navy silk to cardstock with spray adhesive. I cut a frame out of gold CS using my long rectangle Nesties and layered that over the fabric piece to hopefully look a little like a silk screen. Popped the screen up on foam tape. I colored some tiny paper flowers with Copics and detailed them with a metallic gold pen. Placed these onto the silk screen with glue dots. My background is origami paper. I added some gold brads to the corners and criss-crossed some gold cord to finish it.
Thanks, Julia, for the fun challenge and TFL!

Spray adhesive - why didn't I think of that. It would have been a lot quicker than interfacing. Gorgeous silks, lovely card. I have a little fabric-covered button in my pocket to make an oriental type card in the unlikely event I get any more time.
