Here is my card for the Clean and Simple challenge. Well....it really wasn't that simple! I was making great progress and even a little proud (see, my mother always says that pride goeth before a fall) for thinking of getting out my old decorative scissors to trim the edge down a bit. I thought about getting back to basics with this challenge and those scissors were my first scrapbooking supplies I bought. My next step on the card was to make some dimension by scoring it along the decorative edge. I stamped the scrolls next, no problem. Then boom, I stamped the sentiment and wouldn't you know it, it was so crooked! My mother was right, my pride was my down fall! Normally, I would layer over it with sooomething to hide it but that wouldn't be OK for this challenge. Oh drat, I had to start over. Yikes, this simple stuff is hard work!!
Thanks for looking!

Oh, you made me laugh! It doesn't really show that the sentiment is crooked. Your CAS card is beautiful and very elegant. I love it! Thanks for the giggle and for sharing!

Sometimes we work so hard on one simple card and then the next one comes together in a matter of minutes. Go figure! Your perserverance paid off - this is fantastic! Love your color choices!
