Made for the CC202 Regal Kisses, Bravo! Colour Combo Challenge. We don't have the SU! In Colours in the UK so I used Old Olive instead of Kiwi Kiss.
I've never used Bravo Burgundy before so I thought today's challenge would be perfect for me. Hmmm, it's OK with Regal Rose and Olive, not so scary after all!
I've CASEd a Christmas card I made previously. I've changed things about a bit on this birthday card version 'cos I wanted to use my new Sizzlits Decorative Strip 'Lace Edging' die! Here's my original Christmas card: Christmas Flowers for Michelle by FubsyRuth at Splitcoaststampers
I would have preferred to stamp the sentiment in a different colour but I don't have Bravo Burgundy ink yet and I had nothing like it in my ink stash.
I followed my fab demo's method of adding some shape and definition to the 5 petal flower punched shapes. After punching them out, I cut the petals deeper. Then, working on a mouse mat, I used a Leone Em deet tool to add lines to each petal and then spiralled a round ball embossing tool in the centre of each flower to make it pop up slightly.
Card measures 5.75" square.

This turned out super Ruth. It is so great to see you in the challenge gallery. I love the flowers. Thanks for the explanation. I hope it is warm across the pond. It actually snowed here a little. Hugs...

I love it. I love how you cased your own card. I love what you did with the flower punch, layering them with the green behind for leaves. Great idea. I'll have to try that. Love the scallops. Cute green paper. TFS
