I am making the most of this Sketch Challenge...this card is one of 20 I am making for a friend, she is wanting scripture cards and would be happy with them as long as they have the Bible verses she asked for....I would get bored making that number of the same so I decided to do 2 of each layout, using the challenges for inspiration.
These colours are among my favourites...warm rich tones. The flowers are some I stumbled on at our local shopping centre - I particularly like the texture of them...they are made from textured paper and have great tones. I have used crocheted lace, from an old doily, I really like the look of it and am always on the look out for it at local thrift stores, the new lace is nice, but there is something about the older stuff!!
I appreciate your comments and enjoy knowing you stopped by!!! Thanks for looking!

Linda, this is fabulous! The colors are so soothing and that verse is wonderful! Of course, your little torn edges add so much to the card! I love the older lace too! The lace is the perfect finish for your card! This is truly beautiful!

Ohh I love your earth colours too! What a lovely scripture -and a wonderful reminder to all of us! Lovely flowers - love that doily - you've been making great use of that! The torn corners and brads are lovely - Linda - somehow your cards all just flow together so beautifully!

I'm sure all these cards will be a blessing to your friend if they're all like this! I love the way you balanced the corners with the three dots. Elegant colors.
