Great choice today for the featured stamper, Beth! I had a wonderful time perusing Lori's gallery for cards to case. In the end, I went with a sentimental favorite. As Lori rooted for keeping the paisley print background, she made several cards showcasing the stamp. My first B/S board purchase and upload to the gallery was this very stamp! It is a fabUlous paisley! And Feathered Hope was a gift from a friend just last birthday!
I used several of the same stamps, I kept the layout, but omitted the tabs, adding shadow stamping of the hollyhocks and the position of the word 'hope' and a bit of ribbon on the tag.
My card base is PTI spring moss. I inked the paisley print bg with Nick Bantock's Chartreuse leaf dye ink. The Dickinson quote is stamped with Memento tuxedo black. I stamped the Hollyhocks (Embossing Arts) with VersaMark and embossed with clear ep. The bird from SU's Natural Beauty was stamped directly to the tag with NB Van Dyke Brown. I added the 'HOPE' to a tiny tag, it is stamped on SU kiwi kiss. The tag is from Memory Box grove paper group. I used the SU scallop punch for the panel and line both edges with linen brown cs.
This card is going to a dear friend who has been battling chronic health issues. I actually made her a card with this same quote just about a year ago have a peek. It's interesting how different fonts play a role in how you design a card! This is the card inside.
Thanks for all your generous comments, I love reading each one! Be blessed!

Oh Susan, I do love the different versions of fonts you showed us here. The embossing makes it bolder on the other one and in this one for me reflects Emily Dickinson's soft heart, I'm sure she wore on her sleeve. Love your take on Lori's card. Always touching some part of my heart. Thank you Susan, you are inspiring.
