Finally had a chance to do today's Ways To Use It Challenge where we were to use color combo wheels or websites to choose the color combo for our card. I had a site bookmarked that gives Stampin' Up color combos, so I went with that. http://www.scraptitude.com/colorcombo/
As a starting point, I entered one of my current favs, Baja Breeze. From the list of possible combinations, I chose Baja Breeze, Kiwi Kiss, Pink Pirouette and Riding Hood Red, four new In Colors, but I would not have thought of putting them all together.
I stamped the floral image twice with Memento Tuxedo Black onto GP White and colored it with Copic Markers to match the colors of my combo. Cut out the flowers from one image, added brad centers and popped them up over the other image. Added some photo corners and a tab, each with a white brad, and popped the whole thing up on foam tape at a slight angle for interest. I found a piece of Urban Prairie DP that also had all the colors so I added that to peek out in the background.
Thanks, Julia, for the fun challenge! I've enjoyed browsing all the sites everyone has listed for color combos and I am sure I will come back to them in the future.
TFL!
