Hi Kate - They're NOT awful, they're just not finished! You have made 2 pretty backgrounds. You need to add to them. Maybe a matted image or tag with some ribbon. And you know, you don't have to use the whole thing on one card - you can cut it into strips or triangles, etc. Play with them and repost!!!.

Hey, Kate! I have yet to find the details of this technique yet, so I'm not exactly sure what all you have done here. I have seen a couple of samples today it looks like I might have to try this, too!
Here's a card I just saw that goes along w/the other comment you received--it could be a starting place or inspiration. Can't wait to see what you come up with-you always do a great job!

Hi, Kate. You've definitely got the technique. As Arlene said, they just aren't finished. Do some layering, add a tag, add some ribbon or eyelets or wire. Try cutting apart the background as suggested and layering it that way. You are off to a great start. Be sure to post the finished products! Have fun!
