Happy Saturday everyone! I'm beginning to think that I live for Saturdays if only for the Inspiration Challenge! Stef, the inspiration you bring to us is always amazing. My thanks to both you and Sgtstamper for this week's suggestion as it is a fantabulous one!
The photo for my inspiration is here: http://cakenouveau.com/cakes3.html. The link defaults to the first photo on the page, so the actual photo is page 3, 4th row down, 4th photo to the right.
I snagged the image from the internet and reduced it by 50%. I colored the image with prismacolored pencils, then went over that with pearlescent watercolor paint. Added copper gel pen details to her hair. CBd a green Currency panel in bubbles, ticket cornered the main image panel, layered that over bronze Currency and added pearls to the corners.
This image took hours to color and paint, but we'll just call it therapy and leave it at that! LOL
The entire image is very shimmery, but alas I cannot capture it in a photo.
Thanks for the challenge and thanks for looking!

Whoa, Divine Ms M, what a gorgeous card this is. Love the creative genius to download the actual photo. Your coloring is simply spectacular and looks amazingly fabulous next to the green currency paper! This is really drop dead gorgeous.

Absolutely stunning! I love all the shimmer and the wonderful image! Your coloring is amazing - no wonder it took a long time - but it was well worth it! Outstanding IC card!

Hi M, this card is fabulous....I have missed you on the gallery but you have more than made up for it with this. I love everything about it....your time was well spent with this one...I love the 'therapy' side of this craft, I tell DH I save him $150 per hour when I craft...that's the going rate for therapy these days!! Thanks for sharing M, fabulous!!

M, I just love this, were you inspired by She sells seashells, well from what I figured it must be it. I see the sea so...WOW, alot of us just love that cake. I didn't have a look at the pricing but Anne was talking about 1000.$ goodness, I guess I'll get myself an ol' Betty Crocker and create one. LOL
I gotta say that you have given me the cleverest tip. No I never thought of pencil coloring and adding the pearlescent on top. About the painting and coloring, yes it is timeconsuming but as you say, when I come out of it, I feel so relaxed. Yep, coloring and painting, saves bundles on therapy! Did I say how much I love this image you chose from the web and the fantastic cuttlebug currency I have because of your sweet heart!
Hum...maybe I'll pm you next time. LOL Great job girlfriend and TFS
