There are always a few who have to mess around, not follow the rules etc. I'm one of them and normally you don't see my messes, but today I decided it looked good from a distance so I'm putting it in.
My favorite faux silk is a used coffee filter, so I used one. It was not sheer enough for this and my red candles didn't show up very well, so I had to color them.
Then I decided too much coffee was showing, so I splashed on some Versamark and added find detail gold embossing powder. I think I like it, but was not paying attention to the person making rabbit ears behind the candles.
I added red brads for the berries and colored the greens with a marker. Next time is soon enough to behave. tfl

We'd all be robots if we followed instructions to a "t" ... I like what you ended up with too ... Looks very nice. And quite frankly, don't point out mistakes, I didn't even see the bunny ears til you pointed it out ... now i can't shake the image of someone thwarting your photography skills, lol.
This is a great card. You should be proud.
