This is my card for today's Technique Challenge where Lynn presented a technique from Ann Clemmer called Faux Silk with a POP! This is a fun and easy technique and it looks neat!
I just had to do one more Christmas card. I stamped the vintage Santa from Yuletide Montage with True Thyme onto the tissue paper for my main image. The parts I "popped" with white were his mustache and beard and the fur on his hat. I also colored his coat and hat with a little red before crumpling my tissue paper. The finished faux silk image was mounted onto True Thyme CS and popped up on foam tape. Cut the sentiment panels with long rectangle Nesties and stamped the sentiment with True Thyme and popped this up, too. All the DP was from Basic Grey Wassail.
Thanks, Lynn and Ann, for a fun technique to try and Julee, for another great sketch!
TFL!
