Red is my very favorite color. I love the excitement of it and Christmas decorating allows me to use it through out my house. I have a love for table cloths, place mats and napkins and I always have them on my table. My Mom was the same way, so some things down generations never change.
So, I thought for Heather's challenge I would create the things I love the most. Pretty napkins rings, place cards and some candles that I made and decorated. I decide to use these beautiful Christmas Ornament as my theme for the project. Here are the details:
Candle: I poured the candle into a 4 inch mold, scenting it with Frankincense and Myrrh fragrance. (ymmmm). I found some gold studs with 4 prongs on them that easily pushed into
the candle after I unmolded it. I cut out the Christmas Ornament with my Cricut, using the Joys's of the Season Cartridge.
Place cards: I cut out a piece of the Ornament paper 3 1/4 inch by 4 inch, rounded the corners and scored it . Then used a gold pen on all of the sides to accent the paper. I stamped my DH's name and attached it to the Christmas Ornanment and then used Dimensionals to pop it up. Very easy and what a nice addition to a table. Your dinner guests will love it.
Napkin Ring: Talk about easy. I cut a strip of paper 8 inches long and 2 1/4 inches wide from a coordinating paper that was 8 inches long and 1 inch wide.
After attaching the two together and then making a round circle with them, I attached a Christmas Ornament with some Dimensionals and I was done.
