Beate's recent "Sparkly Stained Glass" tutorial in Resources took me back to one of my earliest favorite techniques, glitter painting, so I had to make a Christmas card using it.
The ornament is stamped on acetate with Versamark and heat embossed with detail black EP. I like how it shows up better than using Stazon. The image is "colored" on the back with Art Institute dries clear adhesive, one color of glitter at a time, allowing to dry in between. The image is cut out and mounted with dimensionals on the embossed Poison Ivory layer. Photos don't do this technique justice.
I tried a fancier layout, but decided the ornament looked better by keeping the background simple.
