This idea popped into my head when I saw Emily’s Color Combination challenge this morning. The plaid background was created by inking up just the edge of my brayer (first with Really Rust ink, next with Going Gray ink), and drawing stripes onto the Very Vanilla card stock in two directions — a technique I learned at the Stampin’ Up! regional seminar in Virginia Beach earlier this month.

OK, so that is a REALLY COOL bg!!!! It looks completely professional. Here I was, thinking, "how did she find that cool bg paper in grey and rust?" Thanks so much for showing us cold-non-Virginia-Beach-Regional-attending stampers how!
