The bg was scored at 1/4" intervals, then sponged with various inks. The sunflowers were stamped onto water color paper and colored with re-inkers and stamp pads. A window was cut from the brown layer with a scalloped nestie. Then gold thread was hand stitched around the edge.

i love it! I always think I should use the negative paper from cutting out with a nestie, but never was sure how. great idea! beautiful card! love the scored BG!

what a beautiful card! I love the gridwork in the background panel, but that gold stitching is such eye candy! The floral image is beautifully done - I love this!
