This card is for a friend of mine to give to her son who plays football for a local high school team. I had so much fun creating this card, although it nearly took me an entire day. The letters were cut using a Cricut (thanks to Marsha-MHewett for letting me use hers). I drew the field in by hand using a white gel pen. Our local Archiver's had dsp for the correct high school (SCORE). I used a piece of it for one of the end zones, then used the rest to make an envelope. The other end zone, I stamped. Too fun! TFL

I was lucky enough to see this card IRL, and IT ROCKS! The green cardstock is textured so it seems grassy...the whole field is fabulous. I know it took a whole day and it shows, girlfriend!
Oh wow, girlfriend! I can see why it took all day!!!! It's fabulous, right down to every last detail! I love your field and helmet, the lettered sentiment and dp are perfect, and the stitched sentiment on the bottom is absolutely awesome!!! Way to go, Terri, I wish I could have seen it IRL, too!

coming from you, I would have to think this card took an inordinate amount of time. It was so worth it though; can you just imagine Nate's surprise when he opens this. Wish you could be there to see his face. he's got to love this one, girl. It's totally unique and fabulous!
