Would you believe I have a box FULL of acrylic stamps and have never used them? Habit is a very strong thing.
This Limited Supply challenge to use only acrylic stamps is great! What was I waiting for? Do I earn extra credit for using only paper—no embellishments? Not even ribbon!!
I will repeat my friend Julie’s cautionary tale of lost acrylic stamps. She was using a lot of miniscule alphabet stamps to create a phrase. She stamped; she was pleased; she cleaned up; she replaced the letters; uh-oh, only 23 letters. ??? She had to deputize her children—and then bribe them—to help her search the carpet. Two were found in the carpet and the other one was finally discovered in the garbage disposal. I washed my invisible little pieces of acrylic in a clear bowl of water. Stayed well away from the sink with its gaping maw of stamp-eating drainpipe. Then poured the water through a mesh strainer—just in case I overlooked a piece.

Thanks for the great advice about those tiny alphas! Maybe I'll use the one I got as a gift now - I NEVER would have bought one before because in my house if it's smaller than a St. Bernard puppy, it's bound to get lost!!!
I love the simplicity of this card - and I'll give you big atta girls for making a GREAT card with just paper!!! TFS!
