Am making cards to donate for a gift basket for charity and this is my third card for what will hopefully be a set of 6. (At the rate I'm going, it's not looking so promising that I'll have 6 by the 8th of this month! But I'll keep working at it.)
Love this little horsey playing in a pile of leaves! My thanks to Princessheather for letting me stamp off some images from her stamp collection, this being one of them.
She and I both discovered the Twinklin' H2O version of watercolors from Daniel Smith last week and we instantly bought 'em (on sale this month, btw)! So this is what I used to color the leaves. They are so sparkly, that the nuance of colors is a little lost in the photograph, but who cares when you get that much sparkle from a watercolor paint! LOL
I used Daniel Smith landscape watercolor pencils for the horsey, then smoothed them out with a blender pen. Didn't think he popped enough, so went over that with Prismacolors and OMS. Added ribbon and layered the main image over Artichoke, Copper and then Creamy Caramel as the card base.
Embossed some really ugly colored brads in my stash with copper EP, ticket cornered the main image panel, then put some punchies in copper cs on the ribbon.
Hope you like it! And thanks for looking!

Aren't H2Os great to use - and so hard to take a picure that shows them off. I can see all your sparkle though. And the leaves on the ribbon have just the same sparkle. I thought you couldn't have painted them, hard to imagine they are just punched out. All those metallic shimmery colours are great for a sunny autumn day (which I most emphatically don't have today :-().
