I will be featuring this beautiful set in my November workshops and thought I would keep it simple. First I tried stamping a background on the white base card using the snowflakes from the set but it was just too busy so I went with a plain white base and stamping, sponging and layering on the Top Note diecut.
What do you think? Am I the only one who thinks this snowflakes looks just like one of the images in the retired set, Snowfall?
Please let me know what you think! Jan

I like it! I love white card bases!

I like it very much, it is striking the way it is, but an alternate idea might be to try changing the base card color. How about Amethyst, or pink or light blue? Then add that color in an accessory, like ribbon, or a rhinestone on the largest snowflake. Your card is lovely as is, though!

thanks, everyone for your input. For the basic simple WS card, I opted to go with leaving it like this but sponging Brilliant Blue around the edges and tying some silver cord at the top. I am expecting (hopefully!) to have some good WS's this month and prefer to stick with a white card base to keep the cost of the supplies to a reasonable point.
I have posted the card with the above "improvements" in my gallery under "my final answer" and appreciate all of the great suggestions I got from everyone. Jan
