I recently entered my first challenge here and one of the comments someone said to me was "You will find this is addicting." They were right, it is! I'm someone who has a hard time coming "OUT OF THE BOX" and these challenges really help me to try and do just that.
I turned my hat stamp upside down and used it as a vase/bowl for my flower. I just took a peek at some of the entries (all so great) and noticed that someone did the opposite used a vase for a hat...but I honestly had not seen before I made my card.

I love the shiney layer over your main image...is that acetate, or clear embossing???
What a wonderful way to use a hat stamp..I love your fancy corners too.

Thank you all for your nice comments...
Gloria, The shiny layer over my flower is Ultra thick Embossing powder that I used to do the cracked Glass technique.

One addict to another: there are often similar ideas floating around the galleries - chalk it up to "fine minds think alike" or something...! Pretty card, too!
