This is for today's LSC challenge. No punches, no Cuttlebug, one ribbon allowed but not necessary, eyelets must be used and only one designer paper.
It was the perfect challenge for me, as I am trying to use up all my failed attempts from Wednesday . This willow pattern plate was something that didn't work then. To stick with the oriental feel I used some Joanna Sheen oriental backing paper, trimmed just a smidge smaller than the card base. I sponged a square of white card with Olive ink and stuck eyelets in each corner. The plate and the green layer are both mounted up on thin foam. I had loads of ideas coming home from work on the bus, but I realised most of them called for punches. Hard to remember not to even use a corner rounder - caught myself just in time, LOL.

This is great. Love the stamp! My grandma had plates like these. They were the nice dishes she used at holidays. I never got to use them though, because I was a little kid and she didn't want them to get broken. However, I now have 3 of her blue willow plates haning on my wall as decorations, and I haven't broke one yet! LOL
