We have a number of fences, and any time they need attention, my DH lets our "boys" know he could use some assistance...he aks if anyone would like to try out for the FENCING TEAM. It has become a family joke. A new fence was installed over the weekend with the help of our son Paul, who has had a number of back surgeries. This was above and beyond the call of duty.....
Therefore, I made him a card that thanks him for being on the FENCING TEAM (and actually shows how the new fence looks!), so that I can include a check which he will NEVER expect! Won't that be fun!!! (He saved my DH many hours of work, they actually had fun together, and they could drink beer after!!...how great is that???!!!)
Thanks for a great sketch, Roxie...I hope you didn't mind that I moved the circle a little!
Thanks for looking.

Oh, how wonderfully creative is this!!! Love the double 'fences' you used and he will surely love this gesture (and the check)! :-)

Oh Anne, I'm just glancing through the gallery, and this is the first comment I'm leaving because I'm so speechless. Beautiful story and an equally inspiring card to go with it! What you've created here is a masterpiece! I dont need to look at any of the others - I've already discovered today's winner right here! Fabulous, fabulous card. Kudos girl! Paul will love this!
