1. I made this card with inspiration from one of my favorite teapots for a challenge I am hosting on my blog called Teapot Tuesday! You can see just the card in my next picture.
2. This teapot is one of my favorites. When I picked this teapot, I thought it would be easy to do but I spent more time on this card than alot of the others. I don't know how to make those paper rose thingys so I just started folding, wrinkling, smooshing, distressing, and dinking around with SU cardstock and this is where I ended up. I probably won't make another because I still don't know how to make those paper rose thingys!that my friend uh!
3. I figured since we can't all get together in person and have tea in the mid-morning, we might as well make cards together!
4. I have a thing for teapots and as a result have a collection of some really cool ones. This idea started when I made a card for an inspiration challenge where we were to pick something in our house to fashion a card after and of course I picked a teapot. It was a giraffe teapot and the card I made a card I sent it to a fellow SCSer that collects giraffes!
5. I plan on posting a teapot on my blog every Tuesday and making a card inspired by that teapot. There are no rules, no requirements, no deadlines just take a look at the teapot and join me in the fun!

Cindy this is perfect, I guess I don't know what kind of a thingy you were trying to make, lol but this is beautiful. And also from where I'm looking it looks just like the one on the tea pot. Great job.

How adorable and sweet! What a lovely vintage card and the center flower is so cool! It looks almost real! That was a lot of smooshing and wrinkling! I really like the base panel too, looks like you scored strips and sponged edges. I love it!
