another monday challenge among a small group of friends. this time, to make a shaped card. this is a very simple card. i started with a larger size (6 1/4 x 4 5/ so the flower fit nicely. i cut the stem and leaves out by hand. the leaves were folded in half and run diagonally through a crimper, which i learned from my great SU consultant, carol. i originally stamped the sentiment directly on the base card, but wasn't satisfied with how it turned out...so i stamped it again on scrap and used the large oval punch. you know the old saying. 'they aren't mistakes, only opportunities for embellishments'. lol!

I wish I had that stamp just to make a card like yours. I love how you shape cut the top. I just love it. That is so cheery and personal. I also love crimping the leaves like you did for dimension. Very well put together. Thank you for sharing and the inspiration.
