I read on Cammie King's blog (http://myblogbycammie.blogspot.com/) that she is organizing a card drive in honor of World Alzheimer's Day. I thought this was a terrific cause, as my grandmother had Alzheimer's and I know from personal experience the devastating effects it can have on an entire family. People who care for these patients are blessed with an incredible amount of strength and compassion and I am happy to honor them.
Here is the card I will be sending to the staff at the Artman Home, where her gradmother used to live. Thanks to Cammie's initiative, an AMAZING number of retailers and crafters have generously donated prizes to encourage people to make cards and recognize the hard work of people who work with those suffering from Alzheimer's. Please see her blog (above) for more details.
This is one of my favorite layouts that I CASEd from an older issue of Stampin' Success (I do not recall which one).
Thanks for looking at my card.
