I couldn't resist the cute bugs from Crafty Secrets aryclic set for my images. They are stamped in Adirondack pitch black on GP cs and colored with Copics and Twinkles. I cut the 'ole boys' out and popped on foam...freeing some of their wings. The big bug is on the bookmark with the sentiment inked in ColorBox dragonfly green and embossed with clear. I matted him on black Treasures linen cs and a knock your socks off green. The fibers are from Adornments. The cardbase is SU red riding hood new incolor. I used the retired plaid for the bg inked with Palette Inks gray.
I'm tucking this into a book and leaving it on my DS's pillow for a surprise tonight. He is a most reluctant reader and I will try anything to open that door...

How cool is this! Love the dimension on those bugs with their cut out and popped up wings!! That funky fibre is a great addition to this wonderful card!!

Oh! Oh! Oh! This is so cute! I've seen this Crafty Secrets stamp set and always thought it would be wonderful to have! I think using it for this challenge was perfect! Hope it piques your son's interest in books!
