A wonderful friend of mine was married today. I made this card with her wedding colors. You'll notice that they are fall colors and there is a special significance to the colors. Yetanda told us the story of the time she lived in New York City and she was so depressed that she couldn't see colors and thought NYC was dark and dreary. She was praying that God would help her in her time of need, and in the midst of her prayer a yellow leaf floated in front of her--and she realize that not only was NYC colorful, but that God had answered her prayers. She choose the fall to be married because of this answered prayer and I made this card to commemorate her special day.

Wow! That is quite a story!! My first reaction to your card was in how pretty it is and in seeing that set used with this different color-theme from the usual pastels, etc. Your card is soo pretty. Now of course, the story behind it makes it especially beautiful! I sure wish your friend and husband a joy-filled life together! CONGRATULATIONS TO THEM BOTH!!!
