This is the card I made for the Cabaret VSN warm up. The challenge was to think of a song you like and make a card. My inspiration for this card was Southern Cross by Crosby, Stills & Nash. I love the sound and I used to sail. It always gives me a nostalgic feeling when I hear it. I don't know if you can see it, but the sailboat is popped out and the jib is bowed out like there's wind behind it.

Wonderful job with this card Pat! I love how you propped up the sail to make it look as though there is wind behind it. I also really like how you tied the knots in the twine.

This is so beautiful!! I used to listen to C,S,N,&Y a LOT. Deja vu was my favorite album (yes, those round vinyl things, hehehe) I think I still have it somewhere.
Your card is a wonderful interpretation of your song.

Prepare to Come About! Jibe ho! Love the jib with wind behind it. Great idea for the challenge--where did you get that background stamp? Southern Cross is a really great song--love the harmonies on that.
