 | | These are my cards for the Inspiration challenge from Saturday, http://catherinesanimals.com/ .
As you can see, I chose the penguin and the ostrich. The penguin will do for the other guy card I need. I stamped the penguin from Wild About You with Brilliance Graphite Black and embossed him with clear EP. I stamped the head in orange and used that for the beak. The main background paper and the bow-tie are DCWV I think, and the foreground paper is Clairefontaine papers of the world. I added a layer of thin vellum over the background to dull it down a bit so that my little penguin wouldn't be lost. The sentiment is from Hero Arts, again stamped with blac, and embossed, with a brad through the centre. The papers for the ostrich are also Clairefontaine. I added a row of gold Liquid Pearls along the join. The ostrich is a pipe-cleaner, black pompoms, a seed bead and marker for the beak. The hardware has cream grosgrain ribbon threaded through, and I added a cream fabric flower and black gem. I though Happy Hellos would be a good sentiment to add, it should make someone smile. |

So much to love about these ... the bow-tie shape for the sentiment is perfect and the vellum really tied the designs together ... your ostrich is adorable ... fabulous inspired cards.
