 | | This is my submission for today's Inspiration Challenge - to be inspired by the cute animal photos by Catherine Ledner (Catherine's Animals). I actually chose two photos for inspiration - one for the background (Rabbit 2) and one for the animal (Rooster). You can see them here, listed in alphabetical order:

The background in the rabbit photo reminded me of one of the Basic Grey Mellow patterns, so I used that. I stamped the Anna Griffin rooster in TH Walnut Stain ink onto watercolor paper and embossed with clear EP. I watercolored the image using Fantastix loaded with various colors of distress inks blended with my Aquapainter. I sponged around the edges with distress inks. It was hard to get a good photo this morning - we are still getting the heavy rain and wind from Hanna here in NC.
