The challenge today was to combine coffee images and the colour orange. After our little craft crawl today my friend Glenda and I were sort of brain storming the idea and I thought it would be neat to have a whole row of funky coffee cups with the saying "Pick yer poison". I added the "I'm buying" part after I made the card because I needed to balance the layout of the card out. I also knew I wanted to use the skull and cross bones as part of my card!
I drew the coffee cups on water colour paper and coloured them with tombow markers and then drew in the number cards. I used my slime punch to punch the tangerine tango and then the basic black and layered everything together over the SU DP from the current catalogue and then put it all on a tangerine tango card base. I stamped and cut out the skull and cross bones (dollar bin stamp from Michaels) and cut it out and layered it between the two sides of the sentiment. Lasly I added the little sequins and the faux hand stitching which was hand drawn as was the sentiment.
Thanks for an awesome challenge and hope you like my card. It was fun to make! TFL!!!
